What is Melasma?
Melasma is a common skin condition that causes brown or grayish patches to appear on the skin, typically on the face. It’s often linked to hormonal changes and is most commonly seen in women, especially during pregnancy (a condition known as the "mask of pregnancy"), or as a result of oral contraceptives or hormone replacement therapy. While melasma is not harmful, it can affect one’s appearance and confidence.
